A practice report from the final week of the preseason ahead of preseason finale vs. Seattle

On Wednesday, the Browns concluded their open practice week. On Thursday, they have “regular Friday practice” scheduled. After that, they boarded a plane to Seattle for their last preseason game on August 24 against the Seahawks.

In order to provide the starters with a game experience approximately two weeks prior to the start of the regular season, head coach Kevin Stefanski stated earlier in the week that they should anticipate playing in the preseason finale.

Due to an injury, DT Maurice Hurst II left practice on 15 August and hasn’t returned. LB Jordan Hicks hasn’t practiced since August 4, and Nathaniel Watson hasn’t since the opening preseason game on August 10.

LT James Hudson III did not practice this week due to an ankle injury he sustained during the team’s second preseason game on August 17. Stefanski promised to “come back shortly.”
