For the past few years, head coach Dawn Staley has led the South Carolina Gamecocks women’s basketball team to success.
Since becoming head coach in 2008, Staley has guided the team to three national championships.
Staley concentrated on endeavors off the court following the recent collegiate basketball season, in which the UConn Huskies defeated him and the Gamecocks in the national championship game.
Staley’s “Uncommon Favor” book will be on display during her meet & greet tour.
In addition to teasing upcoming events in South Carolina, Staley disclosed that she would be promoting her new book in New York on May 22 and Philadelphia on May 23.
Following her social media announcement to her fans, Staley shared a picture from the Philadelphia region, tagging her hometown.

Born in Philadelphia, Staley has traveled the nation playing and coaching basketball.
Since 2000, she has coached at the collegiate level. Prior to becoming the head coach of the South Carolina Gamecocks, Staley was the head coach of Temple from 2000 to 2008.
Staley has made a significant impact as a coach in the SEC, despite being a standout player at the University of Virginia and in the WNBA, where she was named a six-time All-Star.
As previously stated, Staley has won three national championships for South Carolina. However, she has also guided the Gamecocks to nine SEC Tournament championships, nine regular-season conference titles, and seven Final Four visits, including five consecutive.
