The new Unrivaled League has made Chicago Sky star Angel Reese a champion. Reese’s squad, Rose, won the inaugural Unrivaled title on Monday after defeating Vinyl BC, 62-54.
Regretfully, a wrist injury prevented Reese from participating in either the semifinal or championship game.
Even yet, she maintained that her wrist was “fine” following Rose’s victory.
Following the conclusion of the Unrivaled season, Reese sent a lengthy message on Instagram on Tuesday.
“I spent ten weeks hanging out with some dawgs while also converting some of them into food. I’m grateful to @unrivaledbasketball for giving me the opportunity to contribute to history. In a lengthy post that included numerous images, Reese said, “I formed relationships with ladies that I never would have imagined but that I truly needed and that will last a lifetime.”
In addition, Reese stated that during the first year of the new league, expectations were “over the roof.”
Reese’s post received a lot of comments, notably from the Chicago Sky.
“YEAR 2 LOADINGGGGGG YEA 5!!!!” was the comment made by the official Sky account.
The Sky had a similar message for X after Reese emerged as an unrivaled champion.
Reese had a successful rookie season in her debut WNBA season, averaging 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game.
In Reese’s sophomore season in the WNBA, the Sky had great expectations for their new head coach, Tyler Marsh, who was previously an assistant with the Las Vegas Aces.
