Several of Tennessee’s targets, along with a couple of the Vols’ commitments, are ranked among the nation’s top prospects in 247Sports’ updated rankings.
A number of football players who have received early scholarship offers from Tennessee, including two of the Vols’ current commitments, are ranked among the top prospects in the updated Top247 for the 2026 class. On Wednesday, 247Sports released an offseason update to its Top247, which had last been revised in November, near the end of the 2024 season.
Some in-state players in the 2026 class, including key targets for Tennessee, are featured in the Top 247. The Vols’ quarterback commitment, Faizon Brandon from Greensboro, N.C., remains a five-star prospect, having risen in the rankings when 247Sports first unveiled the Top247 last spring.
