The Indiana Fever has announced a preseason game in Iowa City on Thursday. The WNBA team, which includes former Iowa star Caitlin Clark, will face the Brazilian National Team on May 4, 2025, at 5 p.m. at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
“We’re thrilled to play at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and we know the Iowa fans will give Caitlin an unforgettable homecoming,” said Kelly Krauskopf, Indiana Fever’s President of Basketball Operations. “Many Hawkeye fans have become Fever supporters, and we consider them part of our family. That’s what will make this preseason game special for us.
Tickets for the game will be available through the University of Iowa, with more details to follow. The Indiana Fever’s social media will provide updates on ticket availability for the general public.
The Fever ended their season with a first-round exit in the WNBA playoffs, losing to the Connecticut Sun after posting a 20-20 record and securing their first playoff spot since 2016.
