Time and time again, we’ve seen evidence of head coach Mark Pope comprehending the assignment for Kentucky basketball.
Whether it’s beating Duke, winning huge road games, or embracing the fanbase, Pope certainly gets what it means to be the head coach of the Wildcats.
And wow, was it obvious Saturday night when Kentucky earned a dramatic 95-90 win at No. 14 Mississippi State. Pope was able to enjoy the triumph with a fan in addition to leading his Cats to yet another memorable victory.
