Oklahoma Bolsters Wide Receiver Corps with Isaiah Sategna Transfer from Arkansas

On Thursday night, Oklahoma added another wide receiver through the transfer portal.

Isaiah Sategna, a former wide receiver for Arkansas, committed to the Sooners. He just finished a stellar season with the Razorbacks, hauling in 37 passes for 491 yards.

Sategna played a part on Fayetteville’s special teams in addition to his duties as a receiver. Over the previous two seasons, he was Arkansas’ main punt returner, and in 2023, he even returned a punt for a score. He will still be eligible for two more seasons.

So far this summer, Sategna is the third wide receiver to pledge to Oklahoma through the transfer portal. The Sooners need to rebuild at wide receiver moving into the upcoming season because they have already lost nearly all of their space to the portal since the end of the 2024 season.

This offseason, OU has also added former Arkansas-Pine Bluff wide receiver Javonnie Gibson and Southern Illinois transfer Keontez Lewis. Alongside returners Deion Burks and Jayden Gibson, Sategna should have a decent chance of gaining a lot of playing time in Norman the next season.
