BREAKING: Elite 2025 TE Andrew Olesh has Flipped his Commitment from Michigan to Penn State

Michigan Dealt Unfortunate News Days After Ohio State Upset

Few people in the college football community believed the Michigan Wolverines could pull off an upset over the weekend.

The Wolverines dominated the lines of scrimmage against the more talented Ohio State Buckeyes after going into “The Game” as a 21-point underdog. In the end, Michigan defeated its fierce rival 13-10, its fourth consecutive victory.

Sadly, that was the only positive update for Wolverines supporters this week. The team has lost one of its best recruits after Sherrone Moore replaced offensive coordinator Kirk Campbell a few days earlier.

A number of sources claim that Andrew Olesh, a top tight end recruit, switched his commitment from the Wolverines to the Penn State Nittany Lions. “Let’s win Penn State a National Championship! He wrote to Hayes Fawcett, a recruiting insider, “The best in PA stay in PA.”

2025 Elite TE For @on3recruits, Andrew Olesh informs me that he has switched his commitment from Michigan to Penn State.

Since July, the 6’5 215 TE had been a member of the Wolverines. “Let’s win Penn State a National Championship! PA’s top people stay in PA.

On December 6, 2024, On3Sports reported that the top recruit’s decision was heavily influenced by his relationship with position coach Ty Howle. According to Olesh, “He’s developed tight ends his entire career being there,” says Steve Wiltfong of On3.

After the game, he took the time to convey Coach Franklin’s remarks to me, my family, and friends. Other boys are interested in attending Penn State, but they are waiting for me because they want me. I think that’s fantastic.

Pat Freiermuth, Mike Gesicki, Brenton Strange, and Theo Johnson are just a few of the excellent tight ends that Penn State has produced throughout the James Franklin era.

Tyler Warren, the top tight end and one of college football’s most potent offensive weapons, will play for the Nittany Lions this weekend against Oregon in the Big Ten Championship Game.
