Paul Mitchel: Brilliant video on Newcastle’s new ‘transfer guru’ – A perfect fit?

Earlier this year, Man Utd were heavily linked with Paul Mitchell and looked to appoint our new sporting director, only for him to turn down the chance to work under INEOS at Old Trafford, as revealed by The Athletic.

Around that time, however, there was plenty of content online explaining why he’d be such a top-class appointment for the Red Devils. They are worth a watch now he’s arrived at Newcastle instead and I’ve picked out one that seemed to summarise his career, expertise and recruitment record very well.

Of course, this assesses his suitability to Man Utd and the project taken on by INEOS, but all of the information is transferable now he’s ended up on Tyneside.

To be fair Olly, that’s a cracking piece of analysis on Paul Mitchell & I like it’s a Man Utd fan rather than a Newcastle fan that’s done it (no bias).

That definitely shows he ticks all the boxes & he’s held some pretty important positions – certainly in the Red Bull set up.
What he achieved in Monaco is pretty much what we are wanting at Newcastle really isn’t it.

So Man Utd can have our cast off for £10m & we move forward with Mitchell 👌🏼👌🏼
