NASCAR Enforces Multiple Suspensions Following Las Vegas Motor Speedway Event

NASCAR issues suspensions and fines in Las Vegas penalty report

The suspended crew members include:

  • No. 8: Dylan Moser (jackman) and Shiloh Windsor (rear tire changer)
  • No. 19: Caleb Dirks (jackman) and Daniel Smith (rear tire changer)

In their absence, the No. 8 team will utilize replacement crew members Chris Jackson (rear tire changer) and Garrett Crall (jackman), who come from Viking Motorsports and Our Motorsports in the Xfinity Series. Joe Gibbs Racing, which provides pit crews to Front Row Motorsports’ No. 4 team (driven by Noah Gragson), will send Adam Riley (rear tire changer) and Nathan McBride (jackman) as replacements.

Additionally, four Xfinity Series teams received $5,000 fines each for having an unsecured lugnut during Saturday’s Liuna event:

  • No. 11 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet (Josh Williams)
  • No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota (Aric Almirola)
  • No. 26 Sam Hunt Racing Toyota (Dean Thompson)
  • No. 88 JR Motorsports Chevrolet (Connor Zilisch)

In the Truck Series, Spire Motorsports’ No. 07 Chevrolet (driven by Justin Haley) was fined $2,500 for a similar violation following Friday’s Ecosave 200.

Lastly, NASCAR suspended Jo Wright, a former tire changer for RFK Racing’s No. 6 team, and Corbin Sklener, a former tire carrier for Mike Harmon Racing in the Truck Series, for violating the Substance Abuse Policy. Coleman Dollarhide has since taken over tire-changing duties for RFK Racing’s No. 6 team as of last weekend’s Las Vegas event.
