Marc Márquez won the Sprint races and other major races in Thailand and Argentina to open the MotoGP season. The Ducati rider, who appears to be setting the stage for a season of unmatched dominance, has received high praise from Carlo Pernat.
The eight-time world champion is back to his greatest form and is not affected by the mishaps that frequently beset him at Honda, the rider manager told GP1 Marc Márquez has turned into a galactic star. If we keep going at this rate, I believe the championship will change in a way that benefits Marquez but detracts from the spectacle. When you put a phenomenon like Marc on the finest bike, I don’t think anything else can happen. He has really pulled himself together, is back to being the Márquez of old, and has worked hard on his physique. As you may have observed, Marc rides quite cleanly and no longer crashes.
“In my opinion, I repeat, he has worked a lot on his physique, on his shoulder, and on the crashes he had, and now it is very tough—not to say it’s practically impossible to defeat him,” Pernat says of Márquez, who he believes is now almost unbeatable.
