Michigan football fans can get their first glimpse of the 2025 Wolverines on April 19.
The team announced Thursday it will be holding its annual spring game on the third Saturday in April at Michigan Stadium. The scrimmage will begin at noon and will air on Big Ten Network.
The Wolverines’ spring game will count as one of their 15 allotted practices they are allowed during the spring window.
Just like last season, Michigan enters the spring with a quarterback battle. All eyes will be on true freshman Bryce Underwood, the five-star quarterback out of Belleville who is expected to compete with Fresno State graduate transfer Mikey Keene for the starting job.
Underwood and the other 15 freshmen early enrollees are able to participate in spring practices, as are most of Michigan’s 14 transfer additions.
The Wolverines will be replacing several notable starters on both sides of the ball in 2025, including four projected first-round picks: defensive tackles Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant, cornerback Will Johnson and tight end Colston Loveland.
The team opens the 2025 season Aug. 30 against New Mexico at the Big House.
