Steelers Next Quarterback? The Pittsburgh Steelers Head Coach to Sign agreement deal with the Los Angeles Rams quarterback

Could Matthew Stafford Be the Steelers’ Next Quarterback? Kelly Stafford Open to Relocation as Pittsburgh Urged to Address QB Needs

The Pittsburgh Steelers might be considering a move for Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, and it seems his wife, Kelly, is open to relocating if necessary.

A Steelers legend has urged the team to address their quarterback situation promptly. Meanwhile, the Penguins face a weekend potentially without Sidney Crosby, and college basketball and hockey are set for an action-packed schedule.

All this and more will be covered in Friday’s “First Call.”

Stafford has emerged as a potential trade target for the Steelers, who are in need of a quarterback. This season, Stafford threw for 20 touchdowns and 3,762 yards, leading the Rams to the playoffs.

However, it remains uncertain whether the Rams would actually trade him or if Stafford and his family would be willing to leave Los Angeles for Pittsburgh or another city. On her podcast, Kelly Stafford expressed openness to a potential move, stating, “I love L.A. and the life we’ve built here, but I’m also up for an adventure. If the Rams decide to trade him or Matthew chooses to leave, I’m on board.”

The Staffords, who have four daughters, are no strangers to change. Kelly, who has a significant following on Instagram, seems ready to embrace a new chapter.

Sports analysts like Albert Breer and Dan Orlovsky have speculated about the Steelers as a possible destination for Stafford, noting his $27 million salary for this year and $31 million due in 2026.

Despite the buzz, Breer expressed surprise that more teams aren’t actively pursuing Stafford, suggesting the Rams might be open to offers.
