The Georgia Bulldogs are making progress toward acquiring the team’s next quarterback. The Bulldogs are in the running for a top five-star quarterback in the 2026 recruiting class, but Georgia will need to find a solution for 2025.

Kirby Smart, the head coach of Georgia, must decide who will start at quarterback the next season. Gunner Stockton is still the team’s favorite to be the quarterback in 2025 after Carson Beck transferred to the Miami Hurricanes.

Ryan Montgomery, a four-star quarterback, was also added by the Bulldogs in the 2025 class. For five-star signal-caller Jared Curtis, Georgia is on the right track. For the Nashville Christian prospect, the Dawgs are trying to fend off competition from other elite programs like the Oregon Ducks and Ohio State Buckeyes.

 

“I do think the relationships are still strongest at Georgia,” Wiltfong wrote in a post published Tuesday. On a recent in-home visit, offensive coordinator Mike Bobo spent nine hours with Curtis and his family. Bobo and Kirby Smart will return on Thursday.
