Iron Maiden legendb Paul Di’Anno goes viral for singing his rendition of a country music classic

Paul Di’Anno, the former singer of Iron Maiden, was laid to rest last week on Thursday, November 21 in the City of London Cemetery and Crematorium in Manor Park, East London, United Kingdom. Several photos have come out of the ceremony, some of which you can see via a few Facebook profiles below.

One of those posts, coming from Di’Anno’s official Facebook page showcasing his lowered coffin, was accompanied by this caption:

Di’Anno, whose real name was Paul Andrews, passed away on October 21 at the age of 66. His family confirmed that Di’Anno’s cause of death was because of a “tear in the sac around the heart.”

Born in Chingford, East London on May 17, 1958, Di’Anno was the lead singer of Iron Maiden from 1978 and 1981, singing on their self-titled and its follow-up Killers.
