“There’s going to be real beef.” During preseason practice, Naomi Osaka again criticizes UCLA officials over parking issues.
If she received a citation from the UCLA parking lot authorities, Naomi Osaka threatened to have a real grouse. Osaka criticized the UCLA parking facilities for the second time after beginning her preseason training on campus with her new coach, Patrick Mouratoglou.
In 2024, Osaka had a few poor results, including leaving early from all four Grand Slam competitions. Due to a back issue, she also lost in the fourth round of the China Open on outdoor hardcourts. In October, the former World No. 1 declared that her season would come to an end.
A few days later, Osaka took a trip to the Cayman Islands, a British Overseas Territory in the western Caribbean Sea, and wore rodeo-inspired attire on the red carpet of the GQ Men of the Year event on November 19.

The former world number one recently provided an update on the start of her preseason training at the University of California campus with her new coach, Patrick Mouratoglou. She recently posted a video of herself heading from the court to the UCLA parking lot on Instagram Stories, saying that she would argue if she were charged for parking because the system had previously made it impossible for her to pay.
“The practice is finished. I hope I don’t receive a ticket. Since I even left a letter, there will be some serious resentment if I have the ticket when I walk to the parking lot. You can’t even pay for parking there. In the video, she stated, “I tried the physical ticket machine and I tried online parking.”
