“I appreciate all of your support and am honoured to have graduated from ISD. I must admit that I started my career on this path, and I’m proud to have returned. It’s a great honour to have a song named after me, but it also means I owe Dallas something. Dallas is my hometown, and I will never, ever let people forget that,” Richardson declared.

Richardson had a very difficult season this year, failing to win the gold medal in the women’s 100-meter race at the Olympic Games in Paris despite being the clear favourite. But she recovered, taking first place in the women’s 4×100-meter relay.
In the Diamond League Meeting final in Brussels, the American sprint queen did not live up to the hype either, finishing in eighth place with a time of 11.23 seconds. Her attention is now focused on the Tokyo, Japan 2025 World Championships, where she plans to defend her 100-meter title.
