According to Fabian Ardaya of the Athletic, Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Gavin Stone plans to begin throwing next week with the intention of returning before the season ends.

Since September 6, the right-hander has been placed on the 10-day disabled list. Given how few games are left on the schedule, the Dodgers are not optimistic about Stone’s comeback.

Although not confirmed, his return this season is still a possibility. Without a doubt, the Dodgers would get a major boost if Stone or Kershaw were to return this season.
