Breaking news: Eagles standout Defender Surprisingly Signed His Resignation Due To…
Former Eagles linebacker Shaquille Leonard is one of the intriguing guys still available in free agency. It’s surprising that he’s still around. Despite only being 29 years old, he has proven to be one of the NFL’s top linebackers when healthy.
Leonard made three Pro Bowls and received four All-Pro selections between 2018 and 2021. If he’s healthy now, he has many more years of excellent football ahead of him. He was out for a large portion of the 2022 season and looked a little rusty in 2023.
The Eagles might enhance at linebacker, and if they wish to do so, they should sign Leonard before someone else does, as has been stated numerous times this summer. He already has some knowledge with the Eagles. Moreover, he is a strong contender for a comeback.
It wouldn’t be impossible for Leonard to return to his previous level of play as a standout defender if he is healthy. Only 29 years old he is. It’s obvious that the Eagles are all in for the 2024 campaign, and adding Leonard to the roster might transform the entire dynamic.
Philadelphia may be able to sign him and offer him a seat on the practice squad or perhaps a part on the active roster due to their ample cap space. Give him a chance, please.
