JUST IN: Austin Butler, American actor Revealed The Secret Behind His Resignation As An Actor…

Butler was seen leaving the premiere of Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum’s hazy mystery-thriller Blink Twice, which took place in New York’s Lower East Side, overnight. Tatum and Butler appeared to have received the all-black memo, but Butler’s outfit stood out in a unique way.

Everything was black, there was not a label in sight, and the layers were perfectly proportioned; the effect was an unexpectedly chilly look.

Butler wore another black shirt underneath an open-weave mesh top that was somewhat cropped. At the bottom, a pair of trousers that have only a hint of shine, similar to that of a quality wool-silk blend.

A fully blank trucker cap was among the accessories. While it did carry on the Americana theme he’s been embracing since The Bikeriders, GQ’s Eileen Cartter questions, “How often do you see a blank trucker hat out in the wild?”—as well as a beat-up pair of black leather boots.

Although the appearance could seem bland and monotonous on paper, Butler does a wonderful job of elevating it with the use of textures. Using a combination of open-mesh, leather, and low-shine silks provides the costume depth and character instead of experimenting with colour. It reads classy rather than ostentatious.

We hate to admit it, but there’s simply something amazing about staggering out of a party in New York arm in arm with other celebs and not wearing a single label. These might be high-end items that were shipped to his hotel room via courier, or they might have been found at antique shops and crammed into his Harley’s side bags. Excellent work.
