Gabby Thomas made her Olympic achievement visible.
Gabby Thomas was one of the favourites to win the top podium slot at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She was content with a bronze in the 200 metres, though, and a silver in the 4 x 100 metres relay.
Her hunger for the illusive gold persisted until the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Additionally, Thomas won the 200-event at Stade de France after a fantastic race. She got off to a fast start, took the lead halfway through, and finished the race with little resistance from other competitors thanks to her amazing peak speed.
In addition, the 27-year-old took home gold in the 4×400 and 4×100-meter relays.
In a recent interview with CBS News, Thomas recalled the victory and said she told herself in the days before the competition that she was already the Olympic winner, which is how she manifested the gold medal.
I’m developing my inner dialogue. It’s the point when I’m growing more confident. I’m telling myself that I’ve won the Olympics already. She claimed that while she was in Paris, she repeatedly jotted down in her notes app that she would win the Olympics and that she would visualise the race all day every day, picturing herself coming in first.
