Phil Parkinson’s condition AFC Wrexham transfer news
WREXHAM manager Phil Parkinson has stated that even though the club has been given “astronomical” prices, they are still trying to sign new players.
Thus far in this transfer window, the Reds have added six players: George Dobson, Callum Burton, Dan Scarr, Lewis Brunt, Sebastian Revan, Arthur Okonkwo, and Lewis Brunt.
Parkinson stated that there will probably be ins and outs before the window closes after the team’s 1-0 victory over Fleetwood Town in the last preseason match before the League One season.
“The squad is getting there, we have good depth in the squad, and we’re excited about the season,” he stated.
We need to balance the numbers, which is something we’re attempting to achieve because we’re working on a few projects and some of them might even go out on loan.
We have endeavored to substitute the players who departed. We have two center halves left, thanks to Lewis and Dan. We’re just trying to put things together so we have depth, but it’s definitely better than what we had last season since obviously Youngy went and we brought in George Dobson.Thus, maybe we can improve our current level of quality a little bit more and ensure that the team is prepared to play at this level.
Expectations will be on Wrexham to play in League One again despite their consecutive promotions.
