Megna Jaycob Returns to the Florida Panthers “Home”
Although Jaycob Megna was raised in the Chicago region, he was born in Broward County. But he was a regular traveler to South Florida over the holidays, and on those trips, he saw most of the NHL games at Panthers games in Sunrise.
Megna is currently in his eleventh season of professional play. He has represented numerous clubs, ranging from Norfolk to San Diego, San Jose to Chicago.

Now that he has signed with the Florida Panthers, he is back where it all started.

Megna remarked, “It’s really special, especially because I’ve spent the majority of my career out west. It’s nice to be back on the east coast and be close to family—you can’t get any closer than this.” “I am attempting to make the most of it and I am really looking forward to it.”

As part of the team’s Summer Reading Tour at the West Regional Library off Broward Boulevard on Saturday, Megna was back in Plantation.

He told a staff member of the Panthers that he would like to do more events of this kind after reading to the children who had gathered in front of them, conversing with them, and signing autographs for them.
