According to reports, Coventry City has beaten Hull City, a rival team in the Championship, to sign Brandon Thomas-Asante, a forward for West Bromwich Albion.

The once-capped Ghanaian international was reportedly the target of a successful £3 million bid from the Tigers earlier this week, and a transaction was anticipated to be finalized by the end of the week.
