The Owls striker transfer would be “loved” by Sheffield Wednesday neighbors, but no call has been placed.
The manager of Rotherham United, Steve Evans, has expressed his appreciation for Michael Smith, the striker for Sheffield Wednesday, but he also says it is doubtful that the forward will return to New York.
The powerful attacker participated in Friday’s friendly run-out against Werder Bremen on Wednesday and is now one of the team’s few choices for an out-and-out striker.
