The Wolves manager admits Pedro Neto, which puts Tottenham, Arsenal, and Liverpool on notice.
The Portugal international Pedro Neto has been strongly linked to a departure from Wolves in recent times, and Wolves manager Gary O’Neil has acknowledged that the star winger may be leaving the team if a sizable proposal is received.
Numerous teams have been interested in Neto for a while, including Tottenham, Arsenal, and Liverpool. Despite his history of injuries, Neto is still considered Wolves’ most valuable player; although, the responsibility is somewhat lessened now that Max Kilman has moved to the Hammers.
Neto’s ability has never been questioned, even if his development was hampered by persistent hamstring issues that kept him out of action for a large portion of the previous campaign even though he still managed an incredible 14 goal participation.
In an interview with the EandS podcast, O’Neil stated that he wanted Neto to stay with Wolves and help the team succeed, but he also realistically acknowledged that a big-money transfer was inevitable if the opportunity presented itself.
“I know how good he is, and I know how well he would do at a big club,” remarked O’Neil. It goes without saying that I want this squad to achieve incredible success. Therefore, I’m praying he remains.
