The game ended too soon. In the first inning, TJ Friedl singled in two runs off Justin Steele. That’s not too bad, but it was worse in the second inning. Santiago Espinal led out with a walk then scored a home run to make it 4-0.
Espinal, Santiago. He had a.595 OPS going into the game, which is one of the reasons you don’t hear that name too much in baseball. For the past five seasons, he has been a journeyman infielder for the Reds and Blue Jays.
