Fabrizio Romano provides an update on the actual situation involving Federico Chiesa and Tottenham.
Now that reports have surfaced associating Tottenham Hotspur with a summer transfer for Federico Chiesa, Fabrizio Romano has offered a clear update.
Chiesa has no intention of signing a new deal with Juventus and intends to depart the team early next month.
It makes sense that Juventus would not want to lose the Italian for nothing in a year.
According to certain rumors, Tottenham is in the lead to sign Chiesa, a player who would undoubtedly boost Ange Postecoglou’s chances for the upcoming season.
In addition to possessing the essential star quality, Chiesa is the kind of adaptable forward that Postecoglou enjoys working with.
Having said that, Chiesa has only appeared in Serie A games since joining Juventus from his childhood team, Fiorentina.
However, according on Romano’s most recent update, which he posted on X, it doesn’t appear that Chiesa will be visiting England anytime soon—at least not north London.
Juventus and Tottenham have not gotten in touch regarding Federico Chiesa.
In a conclusive report on X, Romano revealed that Spurs will sign one more player with a forward mindset before the August deadline.
But according to the journalist’s report, things don’t seem to be going Chiesa’s way right now.
Romano revealed: “Federico Chiesa is not being contacted by Tottenham or Juventus.”
