In light of the Leicester loan-to-buy twist, West Ham United makes a £15 million approach to sign Reiss Nelson.
The Sunday Mirror reports that West Ham United has launched a £15 million approach for Arsenal star Reiss Nelson.
The publication noted on page 68 of their print edition on July 28 that Leicester is in negotiations with the Gunners regarding a loan-to-buy agreement, even in light of the Hammers’ bid.
Because of their close friendship, Steve Cooper and the Foxes are sure they will emerge victorious in the summer transfer window for the winger.
With the final say in the matter, Fulham has also been linked to a summer move for the attacker.
Reiss Nelson has to be persuaded to join West Ham United.
It goes without saying that Julen Lopetegui has been looking for offensive support this summer.
This summer window, a plethora of names have been linked to a move to the London Stadium, with strikers and wingers leading the Hammers’ priority list.
One of the players most strongly connected to a move to West Ham this season was Matias Soule, but it appears the Argentine has picked Roma [Gazzetta dello Sport, July 24, page 16].
Nelson’s signing, though, would undoubtedly be a declaration of purpose from the team.
