Updates on Everton’s injuries: Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Ndiaye, Gueye, and Mykolenko – Sean Dyche
Following their 2-1 preseason friendly loss to Salford City, Everton has announced certain injuries.
Sean Dyche has allayed worries that Everton does not currently have a serious injury crisis and that, at this point in the summer, players with minor concerns are being protected.
At Peninsula Stadium, the Toffees lost their preseason friendly match against Salford City 2-1. But while facing the League Two outfit, Dyche had no first-team options available to him. Idrissa Gana Gueye, James Tarkowski, Jarrad Branthwaite, Iliman Ndiaye, and Vitalii Mykolenko are all sidelined as Nathan Patterson continues his recovery from a hamstring injury sustained at the conclusion of the previous season.
Furthermore, Jordan Pickford, who assisted England in reaching the Euro 2024 final, has yet to return to action, and Jesper Lindstrom, who signed a season-long loan from Napoli on the day of the match, was not engaged.
Before the Salford game, Dyche disclosed that Everton had another demanding week of fitness training and was unconcerned about the outcome.
Additionally, he hopes that some of his soldiers will return in time for Tuesday’s trip to Coventry, a Championship team. “That’s good that Tarky is coming through things,” the Goodison Park manager said to evertontv. We had to be caution with Gana, but he is getting through it. Myko approaches things in the same way.
