The Tottenham Hotspur players and backroom staff including Ange Postecoglou have arrived at the Japan National Stadium ahead of today’s match against Vissel Kobe.
Tottenham face Vissel Kobe today
Tottenham head into the fixture against their Japanese opponents unbeaten in their first three pre-season fixtures against Cambridge United, Hearts and QPR respectively.
Despite being considered a friendly, the game is officially the fourth edition of the J.League World Challenge, a fixture won by Manchester City against Yokohama F. Marinos last year.
The match kicks off at 11am UK time and is being broadcast live on SPURSPLAY, Tottenham’s streaming service.
Following the match, Ange Postecoglou’s side will next head to South Korea where they will face Team K-League and Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
Richarlison and Destiny Udogie will not take part in the fixture as they continue their comeback from injury.
Vissel Kobe are the current Japanese champions
Among the players spotted arriving at the venue in Tokyo were Heung-min Son, Guglielmo Vicario and Mikey Moore.
