Budda Baker has no updates regarding the Cardinals’ contract negotiations.
All-Pro safety Budda Baker declined to comment on whether his talks for a contract extension with the Arizona Cardinals have moved further.

This year, Baker will begin his ninth NFL season—all of them with Arizona—and will be eligible for a new deal at the end of the current one. Baker is not one of the studs waiting around the league for new contracts, as training camp gets underway this week.
When asked if there had been any movement in the contract negotiations on Friday, Baker responded, “For me, I’m just controlling what I can control.”
“Mentally, I’m just looking forward to this season and looking forward to playing great football with the guys and winning games. “Controlling on having a fantastic season as a team, and, of course, myself, but as a team, and just winning games and letting everything else take care of itself. That’s all I’m focusing on.
Not only is Baker available and prepared to go, but he also had a conversation with the squad on Tuesday just after they came to camp.
