Italian team’s third attempt to sign Leicester City summer transfer target is turned down.

Ahead of the next season, Leicester City has been actively seeking a Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall replacement.

In order to fill the void left by English midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who looked to join up with former Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca at Chelsea, Steve Cooper still appears to be giving priority to bringing in a midfield addition.

Cooper was interested in a number of players, including Callum O’Hare, a former midfielder for Coventry City who was free agent when his contract with the Championship team expired. O’Hare has since joined Sheffield United.

It was believed that Argentine Matias Soule could have filled Dewsbury-Hall’s defensive and attacking threat roles in midfield and on the wings, but there is little possibility that a trade will materialize with the Juventus striker.

Cooper also found a midfield player from the Champions League who has the numbers to show that he can contribute significantly at the Premier League level; but, a Serie A team has surpassed them in the battle to sign him.
