West Brom have recently emerged as one of the six clubs interested in a move for Tyrese Campbell following his recent Stoke City exit.
The 24-year-old departed the bet365 Stadium when his contract expired at the end of the 2023/24 season, and he is now on the hunt for a new club, with the striker not short of interest so far.
According to the Daily Mail, the Baggies face competition from the likes of Cardiff City, Sheffield United, Preston, QPR and Scottish giants Rangers to sign the 24-year-old, so Campbell certainly isn’t short of options as he weighs up his next move.
The Campbell family have history at The Hawthorns with Tyrese’s late father, Kevin, playing for West Brom during the 2005/06 season.
The former Manchester City academy man endured a tough 2023/24 campaign as injuries meant he missed 23 league games, half of the Championship fixtures, and he’ll be hoping that a fresh start can help kickstart his career this summer.
After reaching the play-offs last season, the Baggies will be hoping for another successful season, and with the league looking more open this time around, a good transfer window could see them in contention for promotion.
