Current Kentucky team runs past La Familia squad
The new Cats seem to be impressing early.
The Kentucky Wildcats are in the middle of summer workouts, and everyone in the BBN is craving some content out of the practices and scrimmages over at the Joe Craft Center.
Well now we get the best of both worlds, as the current Cats roster took to the new Rupp Arena floor and faced off against the UK TBT team, La Familia earlier this week. If early reports indicate anything, Mark Pope and his staff might have a better team than many thought this season.
According to Kyle Tucker of The Athletic, a member of the La Familia squad gave some in depth analysis of the roster, including a positive review of BYU transfer, Jaxson Robinson.
With Pope’s arrival to Lexington, one of the keys to his coaching style was his innovative offense. With shooters across the board, and some play making abilities from the big-men, it appears that his roster this season could be a perfect fit for the style him and his staff want to play.
Is it November yet?
