Tim Walter makes Hull City transfer pledge as he awaits new arrivals
The German boss remains calm about the ongoing transfer work behind the scenes
Tim Walter says it is important players want to be part of the Hull City family and reiterated that the club will only bring players to the MKM Stadiun who genuinely want to be a part of his new era.
City have so far signed just Ryan Giles which was an obligation as part of their loan agreement with Luton Town when the left-back arrived in January, and while work is ongoing behind the scenes, there has been no new signings since.
Previous boss Liam Rosenior played a huge role in helping to convince players to sign for City, taking time to meet them and get to know them, and Walter says he’s doing similar and is equally involved in the transfer process as he looks to bolster a squad which at this stage doesn’t look equipped for the rigours of Championship football.
“We talk about this all the time because we’re talking to each other and I try to find out which characters we need, so that’s the reason why we are talking all the time to different players, for sure,” the German told Hull Live.
