Crystal Palace need to pay £30m to sign Emile Smith Rowe
Crystal Palace are one of the clubs showing keen interest in bringing Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe to Selhurst Park this summer.
The Eagles are looking to add more quality players in their attacking midfield areas after losing Michael Olise who has joined Bayern Munich.
Palace could still lose some of their key players like Marc Guehi and Eberechi Eze this summer.
According to a report from The Times, the Gunners have rejected an offer from Palace and Fulham for Emith Rowe.
Any interested party will have to pay a fee of around £30 million to sign the attacking midfielder.
The attacking midfielder has dropped down the pecking order at Arsenal and he wants to play regularly. In the past two seasons, he has managed only 508 minutes of action in the Premier League, mainly due to injuries and loss of form.
While Mikel Arteta likes him a lot, he cannot use him regularly. Last season, Smith Rowe made only three starts in the Premier League.
Should Crystal Palace consider making a move for Emile Smith Rowe?
The Eagles have made two signings already, with Chadi Riad and Daichi Kamada moving to Selhurst Park already.
Smith Rowe is a cracking player who probably needs to move elsewhere to reshape his career. At 23, his best years are ahead of him. All he needs is regular games, something Arsenal cannot offer him at the moment.
