Leeds United now set to sell ‘incredible’ player for a £3.5m profit as European club make move
Leeds United are set to make another permanent sale and their second biggest of the summer in the form of one of Daniel Farke’s signings, according to reporter Fabrizio Romano.
Already this summer, Archie Gray has made a big move to Tottenham. With Profit & Sustainability Rules a worry and the threat of a points deduction, Leeds needed a big sale and at £40m, Gray was certainly that.
His exit meant pure profit in terms of PSR and has steered Leeds well clear of any concerns. Following the extremely talented teen out of the door on a permanent deal include Marc Roca and Diego Llorente.
Both members of Victor Orta’s loan army, the duo have reunited at La Liga side Real Betis for a combined fee of less than £8m. Charlie Cresswell has been sold to Toulouse, and Kris Klaesson to Polish side Rakow.
Leeds continue Elland Road fire sale with £8.5m exit this weekend
Sam Greenwood, Darko Gyabi, Jack Harrison and Sonny Perkins have all gone on loan with Perkins scoring in his first pre-season outing for League One side Leyton Orient, a club he played for until the age of 14.
