The 22-year-old pitcher missed nearly a month with an ankle injury. The timing of his injury was unfortunate given that the rotation depth had been depleted at that point, resulting in a lot of bullpen games. However, Harrison has already thrown 77.1 innings this season as he inches closer to his career-high of 113 innings as a pro.
The stint on the injured list likely means that he will have more flexibility to pitch deeper into games later in the season. When he was healthy, the lefty pitcher was in the midst of a solid second season, posting a 3.96 ERA, 3.96 FIP, 1.33 WHIP, 7.9 K/9, and a 3.09 SO/W ratio in 14 starts.
Who it hot?
Matt Chapman’s defense never sleeps at third base. However, the bat has had hot and cold moments. The veteran bat has reached base safely in each of the last three games. He has four hits, including three extra-base hits, in 10 at-bats during thats stretch.
