Wrexham Set To Poach Former Arsenal Man After Collapsed Move
Wrexham look likely to secure the signing of former Arsenal youth George Dobson after his release from Charlton Athletic, following a collapsed move to Hungarian side Fehervar.
The 26-year-old, who Addicks’ manager Nathan Jones reiterated that he wanted to keep at the Valley next season, signed a pre-contract deal with Fehervar in February. However, pulled out of a proposed deal due to personal reasons, according to the South London Press.

Now, according to Football League World, ambitious League One newcomers Wrexham are closing in on a free transfer for the player.
Dobson has been with the Addicks since 2021, moving from Sunderland on a free transfer and has since gone on to make 144 appearances across all competitions, scoring six goals and contributing 11 assists.
He has also had spells at Walsall, Sparta Rotterdam, West Ham United and AFC Wimbledon.
