Edmonton Oilers Re-Sign Connor Brown to 1-Year Deal
The Edmonton Oilers have re-signed forward Connor Brown to a 1-year contract worth $1 million after his breakout playoff performance. He was outstanding on the penalty kill alongside Mattias Janmark , and hopefully, the Oilers will sign Janmark as well, so they can keep the BrownMark duo! Connor Brown has a strong fan base in Edmonton, and they supported him throughout the regular season, especially when he was struggling to score goals. When he finally scored his first goal as an Oiler,
the atmosphere at Rogers Place was electrifying, and in his exit interview last week, Brown expressed his appreciation for Oil Country. He emphasized his desire to stay with the team and praised the positive environment within the organization, saying that “his heart is in Edmonton.” Brown is determined to return for some “unfinished business” next season, alongside a hungry Oilers team that knows they have a legitimate shot at hoisting the Stanley Cup.
