Kevin Sauvage is reporting that Standard Liege and FC Utrecht have agreed a deal that will see Noah Ohio cross the border to play in the Eredivisie next season. The young striker, who spent half of last season on loan with Hull City in the Championship, has been sold for around €1.5m with a 30% sell on fee included.
Standard are in desperate need of finances to improve their squad and are trying to sell a number of players this summer. the 21-year-old Ohio joined the side in 2022 from RB Leipzig for around €1m. In past seasons he had spent time with Austria Vienna and Vitesse. The Dutch youth international, who was also eligible to play for England, scored six goals and grabbed five assists during his time with Standard. Ohio had been under contract with Standard until 2026.
During his loan spell with Hull City Ohio made eight appearances and scored three goals.
