The former Aston Villa player was forced off injured with over twenty minutes remaining in the Hoops’ defeat to Sligo Rovers but until then he was the main attacking outlet for the four-in-a-row title winners with the Bit O’Red’s back-four struggling to contain his movement and he went close on a couple of occasions with efforts that just missed the target.
