Milwaukee Bucks: How Much Extension Bobby Portis Can Received This Offseason?
Throughout the years, Bobby Portis has established himself as a beloved member of the Milwaukee Bucks, especially amongst fans. This offseason, though, is a big one for the veteran forward as he is eligible to get an extension.
Before entering the league, Portis had a successful college career at the University of Arkansas, earning SEC Player of the Year honors in 2015 and being named a consensus second-team All-American. He was then selected in the first round of the 2015 Draft by the Chicago Bulls with the 22nd overall pick.
During his time with the Bulls, Portis had several strong performances, including a career-high 27 points and 12 rebounds in a game against the Boston Celtics in 2017. However, he also faced some off-court issues, including a suspension for an altercation with a teammate.
After playing for Chicago, he had stints with the Washington Wizards and New York Knicks before joining the two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks in 2020.
