Maidstone have signed midfielder Arjanit Krasniqi from last season’s play-off rivals Aveley.
Krasniqi was part of the Millers side edged 2-1 by United in a play-off eliminator at the Gallagher.
The 24-year-old also played against the Stones for Hemel Hempstead at the start of last season and is known in Kent from his spell at Dover.
He earned a Football League move in 2018, joining Colchester from Waltham Forest, and had a stint abroad with Finnish club SJK Seinajoki.
“I’m delighted to be here,” Krasniqi told Stones TV.
Sam Bone on Ireland move
“I can’t wait to get started and I just want to thank the gaffer and everyone for bringing me in.
Rush, 23, was offered fresh terms having made an impressive impact at the Gallagher Stadium following his move from Aveley in November.
He scored 15 goals for the Stones, adding to six for the Millers, and laid on plenty more with his tireless work rate as George Elokobi’s side reached the National League South play-off semi-finals.
But his form attracted interest elsewhere and the former Southend man has joined Sutton United in the National League.
