Brewers acquire former Cy Young winner in trade with Mariners

On Tuesday, veteran MLB scribe Ken Rosenthal revealed the latest personnel move by the Brewers, one that netted Murphy’s team a former Cy Young winner in the process.
The news came amid a list of three Brewers who must be on the trading block ahead of the 2024 deadline. It was also revealed that one of Murphy’s rising stars needs Tommy John surgery on his elbow.

Thirty-six-year-old former Cy Young Award winner Dallas Keuchel signed a minor league deal with the Seattle Mariners in April but hasn’t pitched at the big league level yet this season.
On Tuesday, the Brewers traded for his services, sending cash considerations to the Mariners for his rights in the deal.
