defender for Everton and Newcastle United reach a contract agreement

According to sources, Aaron Apia, a superb defender for Everton, has joined Newcastle United.

Lewis Miley made his first team debut for the Magpies last season, demonstrating their success in developing young players under Eddie Howe, even in the face of significant investment from Saudi Arabia.

As to The Secret Scout, Newcastle has decided to bring teenage defender Apia from Everton to the north as part of their ongoing summer talent hunt.

Apia, who was born in 2008, is said to be one of England’s most promising young left-footed center backs at the moment.

Apia reportedly appeared as a substitute in U18 Premier League games against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leeds United, according to Newcastle World. This is corroborated by his Transfermarkt profile, which shows him playing 43 minutes in those two games.

Apia seems to have gained a permanent transfer to Newcastle United as a result of that trial.

Apia has already played youth national team for Poland. The defender is also qualified to play for England and Nigeria, so his future on the international scene is far from assured.
