HITC are claiming that Crystal Palace are closely monitoring Gnonto’s situation at Leeds following the Whites missing out on returning to the top flight last month.
The Eagles ended the season in incredible fashion under Oliver Glasner, but are going to see star man Michael Olise head to Bayern Munich in a huge £60million deal.
They see the Italian as a long-term replacement to the Frenchman and could be primed to make a move in the coming weeks of the transfer window.
What the report also points out is that Leeds have responded to this ongoing speculation with plans to re-open contract talks with Gnonto this summer.
The 20-year-old revitalised his Leeds career in 2024 with a great run of form in front of goal after a controversial transfer saga last August, and in between, it was revealed that the club were quietly confident of agreeing a new deal for him.
Months have passed since that January update on Gnonto, but with Summerville expected to leave, the club might see Gnonto as the natural replacement on the left.
